Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours before your 1st rental day to receive a full refund. 

There is a $25 cancellation fee, no matter what. 

Failure to contact us by phone or email will result in the full charge to the credit/debit card on file. Please Note: Voicemails will not be accepted for cancellations, No Exceptions. 

You must have an email confirmation for your cancellation from us. 

Changes to reservations will not be accepted 48 hours prior to renta

Yes, Elk Country Jeeps offers tire coverage and we work with a 3rd party company to provide collision protection.  IF NO COLLISION PROTECTION IS PURCHASED PROOF OF RENTERS INSURANCE WILL NEED TO BE PROVIDED. THIS INFORMATION MAY NOT BE ON YOUR ID CARD.

The minimum age require to rent a Jeep is 25 years old.

If you return the jeep late, you will be subject to an additional fee of  $1.00/minute.

Jeeps are to be returned by 6:00 pm on last day of your rental.

 Yes, we offer airport pick-up and drop-off services at  Alamosa and Del Norte airports. Please contact us to make arrangements additional fees apply. We can also offer drop off and pick up to local lodges and RV parks. 

 For the protection of our guests that have pet allergies our Jeeps are NOT dog friendly. We do suggest you contact our friends at Ruff Dogs  if you need a sitter while you ride.All jeeps are non smoking, additional cleaning fee of $250 will be applied for odor removal. 

To keep you and our Jeeps safe and in top operating condition you are not allowed to take the jeeps to the following locations. Black Bear Pass, Poughkeepsie Gulch, Phoenix Park, Elwood Pass, Stoney Pass, Bristol Head and Carson Ghost Towns.
